Add in your prefered sauce as well (eg. Barbecue sauce, steak sauce, terriyaki sauce. black pepper sauce, tobbasco sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce & etc.)
Dont forget to add salt and pepper to taste. Turn off the flame once the carrot is soft. Let the mixture cool down while the beef absorb the flavours.

Potato Salad
This time, i'm going to share with u all, the potato salad. This is a simple and yet delicious dish to make for party or even normal dinner.
The pictures below will guide u, i hope.

Mayonnaise, Rice Vinegar (Black vinegar can be used too), Tomato Sauce & Black Pepper.
(Butter can be added to bring out the flavours and to smooth the potatoes)

1st, boil the unpeeled potatoes with salt water, until the potatoes are soft.
(Tips: once the potatoes are done, transfer them into chilled / cool water for easier peeling of the skin later)

Then, boil the eggs, this can be done simultaneously with the potatoes, provided the pot / pan is large enough.

Meanwhile, fry the lunchoen meat / ham until cripsy golden brown.
(In my case, i use lunchoen meat, cause ham is damn expensive in M'sia)

After removal of the potato skin, cube them together with the peeled eggs. Place them into a big mixing bowl / pot.
(Note: This salad can be served right away, while its still hot, or served chilled, after refrigerated.)

(Add a lot of spring onions if u like the taste. It'll do wonderful job in the potato salad.)

Now, chopping the luncheon meat. (The meat tense to scream in pain when i cut them.) *That's the sound effect from the crispy-ness of the luncheon meat*
Finally, place all the potatoes, eggs, spring onions, luncheon meat, maiyonese, black pepper, rice vinegar, tomato ketchup and butter (if desired) in a large bowl / pot. Mix well.
The final product.

My 2009's 2-14
This is how i spent my 2-14... at home :)

Below are the pictures of my V-day meal (with my gf of course):

Soup of the day: Mushroom soup with garlic toast.
Appetizer: Pork ham with salad (capsicum, carrot & onion).
(The garlic toast is a type of ready made crackers from Meiji, i discovered in Brunei)

Wine of the night: Wombat Hill's Cabernet Merlot.
(Wine: Can turn an ordinary evening into one so memorable that you cant even remember it)

Main dish: Striploin steak with mushroom sauce.
(I wanted tenderloin but it was sold out. I've no choice but to go for striploin)

Medium done, just the perfect texture to go with red wine.
Dessert: Apple pie with strawberry yogurt dressing.
(Believe me or not, that heart shape apple pie is from McD)
