What i did yesterday...

I woke up early in the morning to have a hair cut, then send my girlfriend's car for servicing, but unfortunately, the mechanic isnt free. Have to get back to him either in the evening time or the next day.

After that, me any my girlfriend went to BINTANG MEGAMALL for a walk, cause i heard that Parkson is opening on 16 Jan 2009 (after renovation). I have to say its quiet surprising to see such HIGH CLASS shopping mall in Miri. I enjoyed my time window shopping there while bumping into a few colleagues.

On the evening of Saturday (17 Jan 2009) I attended my company's annual dinner with my girlfriend at Eastwood Golf Club's Grand Ball Room. The theme of the dinner is "Costume Night" but unfortunately, less than 10% of the total attendees turn out using costume.

I still remember telling one of my ex-classmate these:

Me : "Guess what i'm wearing for my company's annual dinner - costume night"
She : "Erm... Dont dissapoint me by wearing Superman or Batman, etc. Any hint?"

Me : "I'm going to match my gf who's going to use this costume"

She : "Wow! that's nice. Well i think u'll be going as a waiter?"
Me : "No. LoL ! I'll be going as a chef!"
She : "Now, that's lame. Try something like Obama bin Laden"
Me : "..."
*Dissapointed* (Wearing a chef's uniform is lame??)

After the dinner, i went to join my friends for a drink at Starbuck Coffee around 11pm. Guess what i ordered??

Me : "Can i have something that's not too sweet? And i want ice-blended"
Girl : "I suggest u... hot mocha or choc-espresso without choc?"
Me : "I said i wanted ice-blended"
Girl : "Ok, then i suggest u to take Double Espresso Ice Blended"
Me : "Ok, i'll try that"

Girl : "Sir, is this size OK for u?"
Me : "Erm... i think so"

I take a sip immediately after sitting down, thinking *this is good, not sweet*

But everything comes with a price... I cant sleep until 4am this morning. And i need to wake up around 7.30 am to return my costume i rented from Grand Palace Hotel and help send my girlfriend's car to workshop.

What i did is amazing. I WOKE UP 7.20am THIS MORNING !!! And i dont feel TIRED... WTF is wrong with me? Is this the AFTER-EFFECT from the Double Espresso Ice Blended last night?

After we send the car to workshop, we went to breakfast and return the Chef's Uniform i rented. Parkson is next task on the list cause i need to get myself a pair of conforting shoes. I gave Hush Puppies a try cause there's a promotion that offered me 50% discount. (Wait for my comments on it after CNY)

Then here i am, sitting in front of the laptop trying to blog after my heavy lunch. While i'm writting this entry, my gf is falling fast asleep behind me. Hehehehe. I'm sure she'll /pif at me once she read this entry (but she wont get angry for long over small matters).

Gone in 15 mins

I've been thinking of getting proteins for body building for quite sometime, but i never have the chance or i should say $$$, to go for it.

About few months ago, my cousin (Jason) started body building, and he's been talking about it day and night and nagging me to join him. So, when the urge finally strikes me today.... I CAN'T TAKE IT NO MORE ! *Temptation on buying the supplements for body building is so great !* (so great that i have to escape during office hour to get them)

After lunch, around 2.15pm, i decided to go for it. I get one of my colleague to go with me, to this mini-warehouse which is located at Permyjaya area. Although its only half a shoplot, but the things in there are nicely displayed. The moment i'm in there, i'm like a kid in a candy shop. I can't stop smilling and looking for what exactly i want.

My actual plan is to spend less than RM 1k in that shop, but with the friendly and approachable shopkeeper (Martha, the wife of the Shop's onwer - Vince) around, i can't stop asking for more products' info and laying my hands on each of them. She's really good at discribing things and i've got no problem looking for the answers to my questions.

After 15 mins, i came out of that mini-warehouse / shop with 1 month's salary lesser in my wallet. What a way to bust my $$$. But when i come to think of it, its really worth it, because if i get these items in a normal pharmacy (even with super great discount), i might pay extra 30-40% extra from what i'm paying here, today.

In my mind, the best way to not let my 1 month's salary go wasted, I'm going to start pumping my muscles and work my arse to the limit in gym (soon i suppose). With Chinese New Year just round the corner, i'm afraid that my body building plan will be affected by the nice food and drinks during the festive season.
